Brisbane concerts 2027: the year so far
As of 9 October 2026 Brisbane already has a thick first half of 2027 on the books, and most of it lands in the hot, stormy months between New Year and Easter. The two biggest nights are at Suncorp Stadium in Milton: System of a Down on 1 February, then Bruno Mars with The Romantic Tour on 28 February and 1 March. Across town at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Boondall, the arena run includes The Strokes (13 February), Niall Horan (19 February), Kehlani (25 February), Bryan Adams (1 March), Jungle (2 March), Evanescence (16 March), two nights of Sombr (19–20 April), two of Megan Moroney (14–15 May) and Westlife in late July.
Calvin Harris has a date at the Brisbane Showgrounds on 19 February, and Delta Goodrem brings her PURE World Tour to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre at South Bank on 13 April. The open-air Riverstage in the City Botanic Gardens hosts Lizzy McAlpine, Empire of the Sun, Malcolm Todd, UB40 and, in November, Jorja Smith. Every one of these is a confirmed date; artists without an announced Brisbane show are clearly labelled as forecasts on their own pages.
Fortitude Valley, South Bank and the mid-size rooms
The real depth of Brisbane’s year sits in rooms of one to three thousand people. The Fortitude Music Hall on Brunswick Street Mall has the busiest 2027 diary we track: Rodrigo y Gabriela, Level 42, Holly Humberstone, The Human League, Angus & Julia Stone, Tove Lo, ABC, two nights of Belinda Carlisle, two of CAKE, Squeeze and Passenger in October, among others. A short walk away on Costin Street, The Tivoli has Vince Staples, Public Image Ltd, Tinariwen, Periphery, Crash Test Dummies and a hometown-flavoured booking: The Saints ’73–’78, a show revisiting the early songs of the Brisbane band whose 1976 single “(I’m) Stranded” put the city on the punk map.
Over the river in Woolloongabba, the restored Princess Theatre takes heavier and stranger bills: Carpenter Brut, Propagandhi, Osees, The Milk Carton Kids and Carcass. On the South Bank side, QPAC and South Bank’s riverside series On the Banks returns to the Cultural Forecourt, with Leon Bridges, Madness and two Fatboy Slim nights already listed for late February and March.
A quick map of Brisbane’s concert venues
Brisbane’s live circuit clusters along the river and the inner north. Fortitude Valley holds The Fortitude Music Hall, The Tivoli and dozens of small bars that come alive each September for BIGSOUND. The CBD edge has Riverstage, tucked into the Botanic Gardens beside QUT Gardens Point. South Bank combines QPAC’s theatres, the Cultural Forecourt and the convention centre, all near South Brisbane station. Milton is stadium country, with Suncorp Stadium and the Caxton Street pubs. Further out, the Entertainment Centre sits beside Boondall station on the Shorncliffe line, and the Gabba anchors Woolloongabba, a short walk from the Princess Theatre.
Our venues guide covers each one in detail — how to get there, what the room is like, and which 2027 dates are already set.
How Brisbane on-sales actually work
Australian tours are usually announced six to ten months ahead, and the pattern is similar whoever the promoter is: one or more presales over two or three days, then general public sale. Presales can belong to the artist’s mailing list, a card issuer, a telco reward scheme, a promoter’s member list or the venue. Queues open on Ticketek, Ticketmaster or the venue’s own system — for QPAC that is QTIX — and prices are only fixed when sales begin.
One Brisbane quirk is the clock. Queensland stays on AEST all year, so when Sydney and Melbourne move to daylight saving, a “9am” on-sale announced in AEDT starts at 8am in Brisbane. Read the time zone in every announcement before you set an alarm. Our tickets guide goes through presales, queues and resale rules in more depth.

We are an independent guide, not a box office. What we do is watch Brisbane announcements and send you what matters: the presale code when one exists, the on-sale time converted to Queensland time, and any extra dates or upgrades in venue. Sign up below and pick the artists you care about, or follow every Brisbane 2027 date at once. The 2027 calendar is updated as new shows are confirmed, and festivals from Woodford to Laneway have their own page.
